I don’t want to get really political here but I can’t help myself with this one. I mean seriously what is our government doing. The Republicans are still trying to use fear to gain more power and they are using intimidation to try and get their way. Seriously why do we want to give the executive branch free reign to spy on our own people. Where is all this going? The republicans are using terrorists as the scapegoats to gain more and more power and trying to keep everyone afraid. There have been other example of governments acting like this throughout history. Have we forgotten what Stalin did in Russia or what Hitler did in Germany???

House Approves Warrantless Wiretap Law

So, today is a pretty exciting day!

I have been looking at an idea to work a partnership to sell IP Security Cameras with my company Blackbird e-Solutions and the company my dad runs Tri-County Security, NJ. So I discussed the idea with my dad and today his at the home office of the parent company and is planning on pitching the idea to them as they have to clear any investments like this. So, I’m keeping my fingers crossed that they will give their stamp of approval and we can move forward! We shall see.

Spy Agencies Say Iraq War Worsens Terror Threat

WASHINGTON, Sept. 23 — A stark assessment of terrorism trends by American intelligence agencies has found that the American invasion and occupation of Iraq has helped spawn a new generation of Islamic radicalism and that the overall terrorist threat has grown since the Sept. 11 attacks.
The classified National Intelligence Estimate attributes a more direct role to the Iraq war in fueling radicalism than that presented either in recent White House documents or in a report released Wednesday by the House Intelligence Committee,….

So, it looks like I won’t be making it to the Oktoberfest this year. Unfortunately I just don’t have the money since my car broke down. I’m going to end up having to pay something like $1500 to get it fixed. Money I shouldn’t of had to pay but Witmer’s garage in Ephrata pretty much screwed me. I’ll post about that later though.

Next year though. My mom and I are planning a trip together. I will be the guide and since she is a registered travel agent it should be a good team. We already registered a site for it. Octoberfest 2007

Just wanted to post a business networking site I found. It is big in Europe and is starting up in the US. It seems to be pretty good. Hopefully I can find some good contacts there. Maybe some of you too. Check it out.
