i don’t agree with the first quotation. friendships have an ebb and flow just like everything else in life. to look back and doubt that there ever was a friendship, just b/c it ended, seems pretty harsh (especially coming from a saint!)

Yeah you are right, it does sound a bit harsh and yes there is an ebb and flow with friendship. Things and people change. But on the other hand it is an interesting question… When you connect with someone and suddenly what you thought was a friendship is gone… Was it really friendship? To go even futher, I think people confuse other issues in their lives with how they feel about people, or project these issues onto other people. They then end up blocking out people because they are afraid to let anyone in.. at any level. Which is just a shame.Ok, sounding too sentimental now.. Better go back to talking about beer, steaks and sports. 😉

Oh, forgot to say… A true friend will be with you through thick and thin, but those friends are hard to find and it takes time. Ok how about them Flyers?? 😉
