The big Oranje came back to beat Brazil team 2-1 in the quarter final match.
In the 10th minute Robinho made a perfectly timed run cut through the Dutch defense where he received the ball and was one on one with the goal. He then slotted it past the keeper to open the scoring for Brazil. Kaka later had a great chance, but was blanked by Stekelenburg with an impressive save as he aimed for the upper right corner. The first half ended 1-0 for Brazil.
The Dutch managed to get on the scoreboard quickly in the second half with a great long distance effort from Scneijder, that ended up as an own goal off the head of Brazilian defender Felipe Melo. In Dutchmen took the lead in the 68th minute with a goal from Scneijder. The goal came from a corner kick from Robben that Kuyt skimmed to a to a goal hungry Scneijder in the center of the goal. Shortly after Oranje took the lead Melo ended his less then stellar game by getting sent off in the 73rd minute for stamping on Robben as he lay on the ground.

Brazil gets to start packing and Holland gets ready for their semi-final match on Tuesday July 6, against the winner of the Uruguay-Ghana match which will be played later today.
